ProLink LLC ProLink LLC Opelika, AL Opelika, AL Full-time Full-time We are staffing for a plant in Auburn, Al.
Job Duties include, but are not limited to:
Assembly lines:
multiple positions but most of consist of placing a small gasket or screw style insert on a part and moving it down the line.
There is a checker jig position at the end of the line, which takes an end product and puts it in a machine and then the employee checks the part over to make sure it has all the pieces because it would not fit correctly into the jig if something was missing.
There is a crimping machine that take the metal and rubber pieces and crimps them together (these are for more experienced employees) Liquid testing machine where an almost finish product is put into machine and tested for any leaks.
Brazing:
Take a metal product place into a machine and the machine uses a torch to weld two metal products together.
Employee just stands there and loads and unloads metal parts into machine.
Bender machine is where employee loads small straight pipe into machine and machine bends pipe into shapes needed to be used by the brazing machines.
Hose cutting machine, where rubber hose is place into machine, and it cuts the hose to certain lengths to be used in the prep area for connection.
Also, they have crimping machine that take metal and rubber products and crimps them together after the braising is done.
Prep:
This is the in between of brazing and assembly lines.
This is where small items are placed on the product, and it is prepared to send over to the assembly line.
Most items added are small type gaskets or rubber connectors added to the product.
Also, they have crimping machines as well where metal and rubber products are crimped together as well.
Everything in here is really lite weight products and nothing in here is difficult to learn, most things can be picked up within 5-10 minutes of training.
The crimping machines would be considered difficult to learn only because if not done correctly there can be small holes left behind which will cause leaks in final product.
Even with these machines it is still very easy to learn after watching someone do it for a short amount of time.
Forklifts Operators and QC inspectors are throughout the plant, and all must be certified before being left to work alone in these different areas of PSA.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
