POSITION SUMMARYOur Certified Athletic Trainers are integral members of our RehabWorks Sports Medicine Outreach team who all believe in our mission and strive for our student athletes to reach their best possible performance, through injury prevention, safety procedures, taping and bracing as needed, counseling, advocacy, and rehab.
This team member provides onsite athletic training services at our affiliated secondary schools, works closely with the Sports Medicine Coordinator, Rehab Director, supervising orthopedic physician, coaches, and AD for assigned schools.
Responsibilities include ensuring student safety, acting as a resource for assigned schools, providing first aid, and follow-up rehab care.
ATCs attend all practices, home games and scrimmages, and travel to tournaments and away-football games.
Sports include but are not limited to football, flag-football, wrestling, basketball, soccer, baseball, softball, tennis, gymnastics, and lacrosse for both boys' and girls' sports.
Strong verbal and written communications skills are required to manage the triage of athletes to physicians, physical therapy, and any other related program.
The ideal team player has a passion for working with student athletes at the secondary education level, a strong work ethic, is open-minded, highly motivated, flexible and adaptable.
Physical Therapy clinic hours are available to supplement hours during summer and school sport holidays.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Education Bachelors Degree Minimum Experience 1-year experience in either an educational, sports, rehab or medical related field Required Registration/License/Certification BLS or HSCPR within 90 days of DOH/Transfer Athletic Trainer Certified (ATC) through Board of Certification (BOC) by National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA) Licensed by the State of Alabama Preferred Education Masters in health related field.
Preferred Experience 1 year experience in an Athletic training role 1 year experience in a secondary education setting Preferred Registration/License/CertificationN/A Other RequirementsN/A Recommended Skills Adaptability Basic Life Support Communication First Aid And Preparedness Flexible Working Hardworking And Dedicated Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
