POSITION SUMMARYThe Diet Specialist will ensure the necessary information is available to provide patients with the correct diet order, correct food choices, admission information, and any special menu/food.
They will serve in a patient care setting which is delivered in a team-oriented model and working collaboratively with members of other health care teams including:
nursing, Multicare technicians (MCT) dietitians and the EAMC behavioral health team.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Education High School Diploma/GED or equivalent education.
Minimum Experience 3 years Healthcare Foodservice Experience Required Registration/License/Certification 3 Year Servsafe Certificate required within 90 days of hire Preferred Education Associate Degree or equivalent College experience Preferred Experience 3 Years in Healthcare Call Center experience Preferred Registration/License/CertificationN/A Other RequirementsN/A Recommended Skills Behavioral Medicine Call Centers Health Care Nursing Restaurant Operation Team Working Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
