Responsibilities:
JOB OVERVIEW Adheres to safety, food safety, quality, and legal compliance.
Knowledgeable in PPE, OSHA, MSDS, lock-out/tag-out, GMP, SSOP, and HACCP.
Perform all work in accordance with environmental, health, and safety standards, rules, regulations, and practices of the facility.
Must be able to pass training/certifications as required for qualification.
Observe and analyze equipment performance and report any probles to the supervisor.
Keep area clean and free of safety hazards.
Document completed work as required by the supervisor.
Compliance with all other duties as assigned.
JOB
Summary:
Assist machine operators on the fresh beef packaging lines, and/or pack frozen meat patties into boxes.
Essential Functions:
Adheres to safety, food safety, quality and legal compliance.
Knowledgeable in PPE, OSHA, MSDS, lock-out/tag-out, GMP, SSOP, and HACCP Perform all work in accordance with environmental, health and safety standards, rules, regulations and practices of the facility.
Must be able to pass training/certifications as required for qualification.
Observe and analyze equipment performance and report any problems to the supervisor.
Keep area clean and free of safety hazards.
Document completed work as required by the supervisor.
Compliance with all other duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to wear personal protective equipment and/or clothing.
Stand/walk 7 or more hours per day.
Constantly talk/hear throughout the day.
Constantly use eye/hand coordination.
Constantly bend/twist/turn and use eye/hand/foot coordination.
Occasionally squat, grip/grasp, use fine motor tasks and handle/finger.
Frequently/constantly lift and carry up to 50 lbs at waist height when moving patty boxes up to 15 feet.
Push patty boxes requiring up to 50 lbs of force 3 feet.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and color vision.
ENVIRONMENTAL/ATMOSPHERIC CONDITIONS:
Constantly work in damp, wet, humid and slippery environments.
Constantly work near moving equipment in extreme heat/cold (40-45 degrees).
Constantly work in high noise levels requiring hearing protection.
Frequently exposed to fumes or airborne debris.
Occasionally work with toxic or caustic chemicals.
Occasionally exposed to segmental vibration.

Bump cap, hair net, safety glasses, hearing protection, and smock.
