POSITION SUMMARY Demonstrates excellent customer service skills, interpersonal skills, and team work.
Registers and schedules patients accurately, efficiently and professionally to ensure data integrity and facilitate claims process.
Maintains privacy and confidentiality of patients and health information.
Maintains a high level of professionalism and fosters positive interactions with our customers.
Along with constant communication with insurance companies this job has a high volume of speaking to the patients to schedule as well as informing the patients of what happens when the patient arrives to the clinic.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Education High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum Experience N/A Required Registration/License/Certification N/A Preferred Education Associate Degree in Business or Health related field.
Knowledge of Medical Terminology Preferred, Knowledge of ICD-9, ICD-10, and CPT-4 coding preferred Preferred Experience 1 to 2 years Healthcare/Hospital experience.
1 to 2 years Customer service experience.
Ability to type 35 words per minute preferred.
Preferred Registration/License/Certification Certification of Patients Accounts Other Requirements N/A Location:
EAMC PAIN MGMT Schedule:
FT, First Shift.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
