Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to lawyers and legal professionals - Prepare and proofread legal documents and correspondence - Manage and organize legal files and documents using document management systems - Coordinate meetings and appointments for attorneys - Maintain calendars and schedules for court appearances and deadlines - Assist in the preparation of case materials and exhibits - Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel as needed - Assist in the preparation of legal correspondence and memos
Experience:
- Previous experience as a legal assistant or in a similar role preferred - Strong clerical skills, including typing, filing, and data entry - Proficient in using document management systems - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness The starting salary for this position is negotiatble based on previous experience.
There will also be re-evalutations after the six (6) and twelve (12) month marks for possible performance-based raises, in addition to annual bonuses.
We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
