POSITION SUMMARY The Patient Processing Specialist is often the first point of contact with our facility, so a strong Customer Service Focus is imperative.
The Patient Processing Specialist should be able to effectively communicate with the patient to obtain necessary information for efficient Registration processing, including demographic information and insurance information.
This position has a direct impact on revenue and patient satisfaction; professionalism, great customer service and efficiency all promote the success of the Patient Processing Specialist.
Desired qualities for a Patient Processing Specialist are a self-motivated and driven person with a positive outlook, optimism and a can-do attitude who never meets a stranger.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Education High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum Experience 1-2 years customer service experience, including working on a computer.
Required Registration/License/Certification N/A Preferred Education High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Experience 1-2 years healthcare/hospital experience and/or customer service experience.
1-year computer experience and the ability to type and spell accurately.

FT, First Shift.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
