POSITION SUMMARYAn Apothecary Pharmacist is responsible for assuring all prescriptions within the department are filled, verified, dispensed and delivered with utmost accuracy, as well as with care and concern for the patient's wellbeing and satisfaction.
The candidate must exhibit expertise, professionalism and willingness to provide information and solutions to patients and other members of the health care team to ensure effective medication use.
Located within East Alabama Medical Center, the Apothecary Pharmacist practices in a unique work environment serving employees, outpatients, and discharging patients.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Education Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy Minimum Experience N/A Required Registration/License/Certification Alabama State Board of Pharmacy Active Registered Pharmacist License and Controlled Substance Permit Preferred Education N/A Preferred Experience Two years of retail pharmacy practice experience Previous experience with ScriptPro Pharmacy Management System or ScriptPro Robotics Systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Preferred Registration/License/Certification BLS Certification APhA's Medication Therapy Management certificate APhA's Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery certificate Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist certificate Other RequirementsN/A Recommended Skills Basic Life Support Immunization Management Systems Medication Administration Microsoft Office Professional Attitude Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
