Senior Development Engineer
Purpose, Scope of Develop dedicated tooling and process for new project and improve current item process o Manage project master schedule for successful launch o Develop new tools (molds, dedicated machines, and etc.) to produce new products. o Conduct analysis of customer concerns and report to company during pre-launch vehicle build event. o Develop ongoing relationships with current and prospective customers. o Responsible for APQP documentation. o Bilingual, English and Korean o Assist Company with translation of documents. o Serve as liaison with R & D Center located in Korea. o Participate in new product presentations. o Assist in market research to anticipate customer's future needs. o Support and follow all Environmental, Health and Safety programs and procedures. o Responsible for maintaining and supporting IATF16949 and understanding the consequences of the product/process not meeting the standard or customer's quality requirements. Non-Essential o Maintain records on market trends o Research and prepare comments on competitions businessEducation/Background/ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field (Mechanical Engineering Preferred) 5-10 year experience required in automotive business field. Strong written, verbal and analytical skills. Good presentation skills, computer literate, bilingual (English, Korean) and ability to manage multiple tasks.
