POSITION SUMMARYAssist the registered nurse and/or provider with data collection, appropriate medical interventions, and patient education within my scope of practice as a student.
Perform these duties through teamwork, while exhibiting high customer service and patient safety.
The LPN Student will be expected to meet all classwork, clinical, classroom simulation and any other requirements for the LPN program.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Education Unconditional admission to CVCC.
Receipt of completed application for admission to practical nursing program before published deadline.
A minimum established score on accepted examination:
ATI TEAS--a minimum total score of 65% (PROFICIENT level) on the ATI TEAS examination.
Scores are valid for 3 years.
-OR-NLN Pre-Admission (PAX) examination--A minimum composite score of 120 on the NLN Pre-Admission (PAX) examination.
Scores are valid for 3 years.
-OR-ACT- A minimum COMPOSITE score of 21 on the ACT examination.
Scores are valid for 3 years.
-OR-HESI A2 Assessment test with 75% or greater on each of the 3 sections (math, grammar, and reading)High school diploma or GEDA minimum of 2.
5 cumulative GPA for students without prior college coursesEligible for ENG 101, BIO 201, and MTH 100.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
