We are looking for a courteous, reliable, and friendly full-time Universal Banker to support our mission by providing outstanding customer service while building strong customer relationships.
If you have a passion for people and have cash handling experience, we invite you to apply to join our growing team!As a Universal Banker II, you will be the Customer Ambassador for the bank with the overall purpose of providing quality and efficient personalized banking services to our customers.
The primary role of the Universal Banker II is to support customer engagement by regularly opening new deposit accounts, perform in depth customer service research, and identify opportunities to educate and recommend products and services to help our customers meet their financial goals and needs.
The Universal Banker II also processes consumer and business banking transactions to include balance inquiries, deposits, withdrawals, transfers, check cashing and provide basic account information.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Listen to customer needs and match those needs to the most beneficial services.
Resolve customer issues and provide relevant information.
Prepare documentation related to deposit accounts and other bank products.
Perform routine teller transactions.
Comply with regulatory requirements.
Manage risk in every transaction and detect fraudulent transactions to prevent losses.
Perform branch administration support tasks.
Perform Universal Banker II duties at any Troy Bank & Trust location as assigned.
Minimum qualifications include the following:
1-3 years banking or finance experience preferred.
High school diploma.
Post secondary education a plus.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Customer satisfaction oriented.
Solid working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office software.
Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
Demonstrated skill in accuracy and attention to detail.

Proven dedication to excellence and achieving results.
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Reliable, motivated, and organized.
Team oriented with the ability to work independently.
Other:
Ability to travel between all locations to accommodate staffing needs as required to include temporary or permanent assignment.
Pay rates for this opportunity will be based upon experience.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
